When I was first getting started in design, Computer Arts was one of my go-to magazines. It exposed me to a whole new world of design beyond the boring brochures, annual reports, and corporate design that many people associate with graphic design. To this day it's still one of the first mags that I grab when I'm browsing the shelves at Barnes & Noble.
A couple months ago, the editor from Computer Arts Projects reached out to me and asked me to write an article focusing on the Ugmonk 2nd Anniversary Set for their "Launch Your Own Streetwear Brand" issue. It was awesome to write an article for a mag that I'm usually reading. I'm honored to be featured alongside other awesome brands like Benny Gold, The Hundreds, WESC, Suffoca, Zoo York and others. There's a lot of great insight about the many aspects of launching and running a brand and would definitely recommend checking it out. The issue is already out in the UK and should be hitting shelves here in the US anytime now. You can pick one up at Barnes & Noble, Borders or some other local bookstores.
