This past Saturday we did our first ever event at the Trenton Ave Arts Festival in Philly. After two weeks of rain here in PA, we lucked out with sunny 75 degree weather for the entire day of the festival and had a great turnout.
Designing a physical 10 x 10 space is a whole different animal than designing a web presence. Since this was our first show we weren't sure what to expect, but our planning and designing seemed to pay off. Setting up the booth, transporting inventory, and managing everything throughout the day is not a small task, but thankfully I had lots of help. Huge thanks to my wife, my brother, and his wife for all their time and help to make it a successful day. It was truly a team effort. We were all completely exhausted by the end of the day, but we had a blast doing it.
I was amazed at how many people that I talked to throughout the day were fans of Ugmonk or had at least heard about our brand before. It's awesome to see Ugmonk grow organically by word-of-mouth. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us in Philly!
Next up we're going to be at Renegade Brooklyn in less than 3 weeks (June 11-12). Maybe I'll see you there?
